Dan Almasy is a Los Angeles based photographer and director, specializing in dynamic motion content, environmental portraiture, and commercial and e-commerce imagery.
A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
My purpose is to help others express themselves creatively, through visuals that truly reflect who they are.
From childhood, I felt a strong pull to the arts and creating. Exploring the realms of drawing, painting, photography, film, and design. My most favorite work lives in liminal spaces: noir scenes, surreal landscapes, beauty intersecting with weirdness.
After 20+ years in the creative industries shaping visuals for brands like Hanes and Chick-fil-A, my truest love remains with the outliers – the artists, musicians, and other square pegs who refuse to be anything but themselves.
I believe in making art with intention, respect and kindness. If you’re also drawn to the strange, beautiful, and weird, or just like to make things let’s make something together.
