Dan Almasy is a Los Angeles-based photographer and director, known for his dynamic motion work, cinematic environmental portraits, clean commercial imagery, and innovative uses of AI.

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

I help people express who they are through visuals that feel authentic, bold, and unforgettable.

For me, creating has never been a hobby, it is my calling. Since childhood, art has been part therapy, part compulsion, whether with it’s paint, film, or the digital canvas I have never been able to stray too far from making some type of art.

I’m inspired by what is uncanny, slightly off, just beyond the veil. Even in my commercial projects, I attempt to slip in traces of the otherworldly, little fractures in reality that spark curiosity in the viewer.

I’ve collaborated with brands like Chick-fil-A and Mercedes Benz, but my true devotion lies with the square pegs and underdogs: the artists, musicians, chefs, actors, and dreamers who create from the heart.
